While most vehicles come factory equipped with an oil-to-water heat exchanger, most factory heat exchangers have been proven to be insufficient for vehicles using today’s popular performance upgrade parts. With only the factory oil-to-water heat exchanger installed oil temperatures will only get as low as the water temperature. Under normal driving conditions, this is already putting a load on your stock cooling system. With B-Line Motorsports oil cooler kits oil temperatures can be lowered as much as 40°F (depending on application). This is achieved by running the vehicle’s high temperature oil through our external multi-row oil cooler, which will also increase oil capacity. By doing this, not only is the oil temperature lowered, the water temperatures may be lowered as well. With the addition of B-Line’s oil cooler, some of the load is removed from the existing cooling system. With lower engine temperatures you will essentially add thousands of miles to vital engine parts, prolong your engines life, and add longevity to the oil itself. Nissan 350Z & Infiniti G35


After extensive testing B-Line Motorsports has found that the Nissan 350Z’s and Infiniti G35's tight engine bay is a magnet for heat. The small, factory installed oil-to-water heat exchanger on the "VQ" motor does not provide sufficient cooling to maintain performance for your upgraded vehicle. High horsepower requires higher cooling capabilities; the heat from a turbo, supercharger or even naturally aspirated will eventually cause premature engine ware. With the addition of our oil cooler, we have seen an average oil temperature drop of 20°F to 30°F. B-Line Motorsports offers two oil cooler core sizes. Part # 350-119 offers improved cooling while working in conjunction with a front mounted air intake, such as our own Tuned Air Intake System and other popular brands. Part # 350-125 offers that little extra cooling capability with its larger core size featuring more cooling rows; this kit, however, is not compatible with a front mount air intake kit. Both kits are compatible with a Stillen front mount intercooler used in their supercharger kit.

Subaru WRX & STi


No matter what you hear, your factory Heat Exchanger does not provide sufficient cooling to maintain your upgraded Subaru WRX / STi. If you have a bigger turbo or if you are producing more than stock horsepower, a supplementary Oil Cooler kit is required. Increased horsepower means more heat. More heat means more things can go wrong. With the installation of the B-Line Oil Cooler kit, we have seen an average drop in oil temps of 15°F to 30°F. We tested both the transmission oil cooler and the two-row power steering oil coolers and have come to the conclusion that these kits are a waste of your time and money. Subaru WRX & STi Top Mount Oil Cooler


Finally, what everybody has been waiting for - A top mounted oil cooler kit for the Subaru with a front mounted intercooler!
B-Line Motorsports has developed a top mounted oil cooler kit that essentially mounts in the same location as the factory intercooler. Utilizing the dead space and scoop created by installing a front mount intercooler; our oil cooler can improve the vehicle’s overall cooling capabilities. The advantage of installing this top mounted oil cooler is the fact that the radiator and intercooler will work more efficiently by having one less object restricting air flow. Many hours were expended in the design of the mounting brackets so that the final product would incorporate the factory mounting holes when attaching the oil cooler to the motor. This type of installation allows the oil cooler to move in conjunction with the motor, resulting in a long life span. B-Line Motorsports has also wrapped certain portions of the oil lines that are near extreme heat, such as the turbo and exhaust manifold, with a lightweight sleeving that withstands radiant heat over 800°F. In testing, oil temperatures were measured to drop 30°F to 40°F. Making this kit the most effective and most efficient kit on the market!
